CHALLENGE COURSE & CLIMBING TOWER

Must make arrangements for use

We offer a variety of low-rope challenge course activities as well as our climbing tower on site for team-building purposes. The climbing tower is available May-September as the weather allows. To learn more about our challenge course, CLICK HERE!

FRONT FIELD & BASKETBALL COURT

The front field has more than 10,000 square feet of grass-covered area to run, play, and discover the outdoors. Framed by a full-sized, two-hoop, paved basketball court and our three-sided climbing tower, this space is immediately accessible to the Tent, Picnic Shelter, Yurts, and trails to Outdoor Chapel. The Tent patio includes fire pit and 16 Adirondack chairs, along with over 40 plastic patio chairs. Basketballs, footballs, soccer balls, dodge balls, whiffle balls, baseballs, bases, and cones are always available.

BACK FIELD, GAGA BALL PIT, & SAND VOLLEYBALL COURT

The back field is framed by the Upper Cabins, the pool/hot tub, the sand volleyball court, and the gaga ball pit. Gaga ball is an internationally loved, low impact form of dodge ball, (instructions for play available), and fun for all ages and abilities. Both the arena and balls are available for group use. Our sand volleyball court is a full-sized court with a standard-height net. Volleyballs are available for use anytime.

LUTHER CREEK

Luther Creek is a beautiful tributary of the Long Tom River stretching along the eastern boundary of camp. The creek is a peaceful, natural spot that is perfect for wading, exploring nature, and observing wildlife. An adult must supervise children while at the creek.

TRAILS

Located in the Coast Range foothills, our trails are perfect for hiking year-round! Camp has more than 5 miles of trails that pass through various ecosystems and lead up to our platform village meeting spaces. Get outside and explore with your group!

PLATFORM VILLAGES

Creekside & Mountain Village

Hike up to Mountain Village and sleep under the firs at the top of a hill in the coast range, or try Creekside Village to sleep with the sound of Luther creek nearby. Both villages have wooden platforms with a sleeping capacity of 30 on separate railed platforms, and are free from all light from camp. Mountain Village has two platforms and Creekside Village has three platforms. Feel a million miles from the city while no more than a 10-15 minute walk from camp amenities. Each village has a fire ring and seating for up to 10 (Mountain Village) or 20 (Creekside). High-powered battery lanterns are available upon request.

STARGAZING PLATFORM

Enjoy a 360-degree look at the stars at night or a panoramic view of the surrounding hillsides during the day! Our Stargazing Platform is a single platform located on the back half of camp, about a 15-20 minute walk from the dining hall. Built as an Eagle-Scout project by a long-time camper and summer staff member, the Stargazing Platform is the perfect destination for a hike during the day or at night!
