OUTDOOR SCHOOL
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Nestled on over 80 acres of beautiful wooded land, we offer an outdoor experience that is tailored to your school and made with your students in mind. We have an extensive Outdoor School lesson catalog featuring over 15 lessons that include Teambuilding, Ecosystem Ecology, Stream Science, Climbing Tower Challenge, Art in Nature, and more. Our evenings offer amazing starscapes for astronomy, the opportunity to gather around a fire as a school, and more. During your stay with us students will have ample time to investigate and explore Oregon’s signature coniferous forests, grow together through science and adventure, and have fun along the way.

OUTDOOR SCHOOL FOR ALL
We are committed to offering an outdoor school experience that is available and accessible to all. We are here to help with funding applications through OSU extension service so that you can be provided the necessary funding you need to attend. Our central corridor of camp has been expanded to be more accessible for a wider range of mobility. We would be happy to talk with you about how we can make sure all your students have the opportunity to be a part of this experience.

ABOUT THE FACILITIES
As an accredited facility through the American Camp Association and with 65 years of hosting experience, we are an ideal setting for your outdoor school needs. With 14 cabins and a capacity for 150 overnight guests, we are excited to welcome your school to stay with us overnight. Our dining hall serves wonderfully prepared meals for your entire trip with us, as well as providing a large space for any inclement weather that might present itself.
We have a fully functioning archery range and climbing tower, which we are excited to offer along with our other adventure-based lessons. Our space offers a wide variety of hiking trails through unique forest ecosystems, a section of the Long Tom River, and access to another creek and small ponds for exploration so that your students will always have a fresh classroom for all of their activities. We also have plenty of covered areas for instruction, recreation spaces, and a nurse’s cottage for your designated health provider.
